Daniel is a life long resident of the State of California, and is pleased to reside in the beautiful community of Montecito. A graduate of UCSB with High Honors and a double major in Business Economics and Law & Society.
Daniel also went on to attend the UCLA School of Law. He completed his law degree with training in contracts, tax, real estate law, and estate planning. After passing the California Bar exam, Dan was a practicing attorney in Los Angeles.
He is proud that he has achieved the reputation and status of overall top producer in listings and sales. Daniel has supported the community by raising thousands of dollars for local charities and by founding the Santa Barbara Young Professionals Club and producing the Santa Barbara Estates calendar. His personal interests include racquetball, landscaping, fishing, and poker.

Marsha Kotlyar
Marsha has been working with Dan Encell for over 7 years. Since getting her real estate license in 2004, she has participated in over 210 real estate transactions, for over $645,000,000 in sold volume.
Born overseas in Russia, and moving to Santa Barbara with her family at the age of 6, Marsha instantly fell in love with the beauty and splendor of the area. She returned to Santa Barbara after graduating from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning and a minor in Real Estate Development.
Combining experience, passion and knowledge of architecture and the Santa Barbara real estate market, she believes strongly in the necessity to market a property and is well-qualified to help clients understand the nuances of purchase agreements, negotiations, disclosures, escrow, and the inspection contingency process.
Marsha balances her real estate career by spending quality time with great friends, family, as well as a love for art, travel, and community involvement. She has served as co-chair of the fundraising committee for Angels Foster Care of Santa Barbara since 2009.
